'Jeong Seung-je's boarding house' host Jeong Seung-je faces an unprecedented confrontation with a boarder's mother.
Tcast E Channel variety show 'Life fight: Jeong Seung-je's boarding house' (hereinafter 'Jeong Seung-je's boarding house') released a preview showing a face-to-face meeting in which the boarder's mother and Jeong Seung-je clash head-on ahead of episode 6, which airs at 8 p.m. on the 31st (Wednesday).
In this preview, 'taste expert' Jeong Seung-je attempts a rolled omelet for the first time. He displays a wrist-snap move close to a trick and, adding a secret ingredient, completes a rolled omelet with an overwhelming visual. The boarders who taste it exclaim, "It's really delicious!" Curiosity grows over what Jeong Seung-je's 'one-hit recipe' might be.
Meanwhile, Jeong Seung-je launches a parent-teacher meeting with the mother of a boarder who made a surprise visit to the boarding house that day. The mother tells Jeong Seung-je, "(My son's) goal is absolutely a prestigious university," maintaining a hardline stance on her child's college entrance, while the son, with a frustrated expression, counters, "I want to make my own decision." Watching the tense exchange between the mother and son, Jeong Hyung Don says, "Excuse me, Minsu (the boarder) hasn't finished speaking yet?" taking the boarder's side. Jeong Seung-je also says, "If the mother moves into the boarding house and you (the boarder) are normal, you can go," creating a 'calm before the storm' atmosphere.
Eventually Jeong Seung-je and Jeong Hyung Don lament, "We need to do a moms special," and raise complaints, but the full story of what was discussed in this parent-teacher meeting can be seen in episode 6 of 'Jeong Seung-je's boarding house,' which airs at 8 p.m. on the 31st.
