The play "Secret Passage" is set to perform at NOL Theater Daehangno Woori Investment & Securities Hall (medium theater) on Feb. 13 next year, and has released a special video for the first time.
Production company ContentHap finally released the special video for the much-anticipated 2026 play "Secret Passage" on its official YouTube channel.
The play "Secret Passage" is a story about two people who meet in an unfamiliar space having lost the memories of their lives, and through books containing intertwined memories, it deals with life and death, the connections and deaths read in the small gaps between them, and the review of repeated lives.
In the special video, Seojin (played by Lee Si-hyung), who approached a book lying on the floor, picked it up and looked around the unfamiliar space completely covered in books. At that moment, Dongjae (Kim Seonho) slowly entered the room and, standing facing Seojin, who was still at a loss in confusion, gave a warm smile as if to reassure him. When they placed their palms against the edge of the book Seojin had opened, the space where they stood vibrated deeply and the stacked books fell to the floor, causing a seismic shift as if the world surrounding the two men were collapsing.
Soon, against a blue sky, the two men fully face each other, and when a returned book fills the screen, the video ends with Dongjae's low voice saying "I have been waiting for you."
The special video was specially produced under the support of the 2025 Namsan XR Studio culture and arts creator support project and planned by director Noh Nak-hoon. The refined emotional lines and stunning visuals of the actors in this special video also attract attention, hinting at how strangely and warmly the memories, ties, life and death of the two men to be revealed in the play "Secret Passage" will be.
The play "Secret Passage" has generated buzz with a six-member casting lineup that raises expectations by name alone: actors Yang Kyung-won, Kim Seonho, Kim Sungkyu, Lee Si-hyung, Oh Kyung-ju and Kang Seung Ho. It is based on the original work "The conference room of flaws" by Maekawa Tomohiro, a playwright and director who represents the Japanese theater world and is a recipient of Japan's top theater award, the Yomiuri Theater Awards, for best director and best play. It is directed by young artist Min Sae-rom, who has been spotlighted in Korean theater for works such as "Jellyfish," "On the Beat," and "Repairing the living," and produced by production company ContentHap, which developed a new and original story and achieved box office success, making it one of the most anticipated plays in 2026.
Yang Kyung-won, Kim Seonho and Kim Sungkyu play the role of Dongjae, a man who seems to have spent familiar time for an unspecified period, while Lee Si-hyung, Oh Kyung-ju and Kang Seung Ho play the role of Seojin, a man who begins to fire questions in an unfamiliar space. The six actors challenge themselves with demanding multi-role performances, portraying the drama delicately and sharply, and at times cheerfully and warmly. "Secret Passage," a strange and tender journey that crosses time and space, will offer warm consolation to people exhausted by relationships and lacking leisure.
Meanwhile, the play "Secret Passage," emerging as a much-anticipated work for 2026, is currently available for reservation through NOL Ticket and Ticketlink and will run at NOL Theater Daehangno Woori Investment & Securities Hall (medium theater) from Feb. 13 (Fri) to May 3 (Sun).<
