"2025 MBC entertainment awards" actors Ok Ja-yeon and Lee Si-eon became the winners of the "2025 MBC entertainment awards" best entertainer award.
On the 29th broadcast of the 2025 MBC entertainment awards, the women's institutional sector best entertainer award went to Ok Ja-yeon of I Live Alone. Taking the stage, Ok Ja-yeon said, "I was so surprised. I wasn't a nominee for the rookie award, so I was at ease, but suddenly they gave me such a big award and I was flustered," she said, giving an honest reaction.
She went on to say, "When I started 'I Live Alone,' at first I felt embarrassed and scared because my daily life didn't seem special," and said, "As an actor there was pressure to pursue glamour, but I'm grateful they embraced even the less glamorous side of me." She added, "I learned that variety shows, like drama or movies, are collaborative work," and "Variety entertainers stand in front of many more eyes with nowhere to hide, lower themselves and let go a lot to bring laughter. They are truly wonderful and admirable."
Ok Ja-yeon said, "I've never received an award like this in my field," and concluded her thank-you by saying, "Thank you for always making the 'I Live Alone' studio warm, and I send my love to my family who always supports me."
The men's institutional sector best entertainer award was won by Lee Si-eon of Adventure by Accident. Lee Si-eon said, "I never expected to win an award. I'm so nervous," and added, "When I came on stage, Kian84 said, 'What is this?' I felt the same," drawing laughter. He went on to say, "Thank you sincerely for loving the program."
Especially during his acceptance speech, Lee Si-eon surprised the audience by announcing, "My wife at home is pregnant with our second child." He said, "The second child is truly a blessing. I'm only grateful," and added, "I hope my ailing father-in-law recovers quickly, and I also congratulate my mother on her birthday," receiving applause.
Their award speeches, which combined sincere confessions and warm gratitude, remained another moving moment of the "2025 MBC entertainment awards."
