Former member of the group NU'EST Baekho is enlisting. Baekho gave his final farewell to fans while keeping to his schedule until the morning of his enlistment day.
Baekho will enter the army training center on the afternoon of the 29th, receive basic military training and then begin serving as an active-duty soldier in the army.
Earlier, his agency said, "There will be no separate official event on the day of enlistment. In addition, because the training center entrance ceremony is an occasion attended by many service members and families, we ask that you refrain from visiting the enlistment site," they requested.
The day before enlisting, Baekho briefly revealed his closely cropped hairstyle on his SNS and said, "I'll be back."
In particular, Baekho drew attention by showing the enthusiasm to appear as a guest on MBC Radio FM4U "Good Morning FM, this is Tei" on the morning of his enlistment day.
Tei exclaimed, "Is that for real? That's an ultra-strong mentality," and Baekho said, "I filled my days with work so other thoughts wouldn't come," and "It's an honor to see you even on a day like this. This is what my heart prefers. I can say goodbye one last time again," he said.
Asked, "How do you feel?", he answered, "Actually, I said I wanted to leave having filled it up, and they really filled it up for me. I'm very thankful, and actually I told them I wanted to work up until the morning of the day," he said.
He continued frankly, "I thought the broadcast wouldn't be scheduled, but it was. I'm half thankful and half resentful for the invitation. But I'm very happy. Being able to work" he said.
He also conveyed his feelings, "I couldn't sleep well. It feels like I only slept half. Even while sleeping I kept thinking I should sleep more soundly."
Meanwhile, Baekho, born in 1995, debuted in 2012 as a member of NU'EST. He gained recognition and a face and name through Mnet's survival audition "Produce 101 season 2" in 2017 and began solo activities in 2022.
