"I'm SOLO" season 28 couple Yeong-ja and Yeong-cheol revealed an episode in which they once gave each other a breakup notice.

That day, Yeong-ja and Yeong-cheol from season 28 revisited the restaurant they first visited together after filming I'm SOLO. While sharing behind-the-scenes stories of their relationship, they recalled the malicious comments that had poured in about them during the broadcast.
Yeong-cheol said, "Surprisingly, when you look at viewers' comments, it was 'Watch Yeong-ja a little more. Her true self might come out,'" and added, "They said things like 'They won't last long' and 'It will be revealed soon.'" Yeong-ja said, "This isn't even a malicious comment; it's something they really thought about. It's like saying think a little more. I even consider that attention, but when people push too hard to one side, I can't explain it, so it's sad," expressing her upset feelings.
Yeong-cheol joked, "This place is a bit mentally weak. I've received so many of those comments that I don't care at all," and said, "As a senior in dealing with malicious comments, I gave a few pieces of advice." He recalled, "I received DMs like 'You've seen Yeong-cheol how much to already be getting married?' and 'Are you going to become a twice-divorced person? Please get a grip.' That one line made (Yeong-ja) feel down all day."
Yeong-ja said, "If something shows that I'm not the one, how can I testify to that?" but added, "On the other hand, there are actually more people who support us. I guess they see us. So I was grateful that those people seemed to know so well with just a few words."
Yeong-cheol said, "So what I actually told Yeong-ja was that if we consistently show the good side of living together, those words and thoughts will naturally disappear. That's the only way. We're getting various opinions now because we appeared on the show, right?" He cautiously recounted the breakup crisis, saying, "Thinking back, I could understand a bit at the time why we broke up because of the show."
Yeong-ja agreed, saying, "I also wondered if people kept saying we broke up because of the show, could that be it? But really, I suddenly completely..." I was really startled, thinking, what is this totally out-of-the-blue thing?" Yeong-ja candidly said, "You must have been startled, but you seemed to understand more than I thought. So I said, 'You're really cool? That's good.'" Yeong-cheol said, "When a man and woman meet, I've never in my life received a breakup notice where one person resolves it alone and informs the other of the breakup, so I was so shocked. I was so angry that I left the group chat. I left the classmates' group chat on my own. I said, 'I'm leaving the group chat.' I was so angry," he said.
Yeong-ja said, "I was stunned. I didn't expect you would leave the group chat, but you really left it," and Yeong-cheol explained, "I went to work without sleeping a wink and I couldn't focus on work. So I called in anger. Then she said she found it hard and wasn't confident about how she appeared on the show, and the moment she said that, I thought there was clearly a chance of recovery, so I immediately went to Dongtan and we started talking," he explained. Yeong-ja said, "While talking, actually it was resolved in less than 24 hours," and Yeong-cheol said, "She said 'I'm sorry.' Meanwhile, recently Yeong-cheol from season 28 was embroiled in allegations of an affair ahead of his remarriage. Claims were raised that he divorced his ex-wife because of an affair.
