Broadcast personality Kim Nayoung practiced warm sharing by announcing a donation of 100 million won ahead of the year-end.
Kim Nayoung released a video looking back on the year on the 28th through her YouTube channel "Kim Nayoung's nofilterTV." She said, "This year was a very meaningful year for me," and added, "I got married, and my outlook on life and values have changed a lot," she said calmly.
She then personally announced her decision to donate. She said, "I received a lot by sharing my daily life through YouTube this year," and added, "It seems the time has come to return the proceeds generated through YouTube. I will add a little from myself to the proceeds and deliver 100 million won to single-mother heads of households through the Beautiful Foundation," she said.
She also honestly explained the reason for the donation. Kim Nayoung said, "I know very well how lonely, hard and exhausting it is to live as a single parent," and said, "So I thought that as long as I can, I should not stop that support."
Kim Nayoung also mentioned personal changes this year. She said, "I started writing a diary every day since May, and by writing down things I am grateful for I gradually became free from fear and anxiety," and added, "My mind became much lighter, and thinking of something to be thankful for every day made me happy."
Meanwhile, Kim Nayoung has continued donating and sharing while raising her two sons. Recently she announced her remarriage to singer and painter MyQ, marking a new start.
