The one-and-only integrated drama awards ceremony '2025 Seoulcon Apan Star Awards (2025 SEOULCON APAN STAR AWARDS)' opens in a splash.
The Korea Entertainment Management Association and Seoul Business Agency are hosting, and Wooritem Modern Village Co. Ltd. and Guardians Company Co. Ltd. are organizing the '2025 Seoulcon Apan Star Awards,' which will take place on the 29th afternoon at Art Hall 1 of Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) in Seoul.
Following last year, actor Kim Seungwoo and broadcaster Park Seonyoung will host the awards ceremony again this year. The leading figures who lit up 2025 K-drama will gather in one place to return the love they received from global fans.
In particular, this year saw the birth of many works recognized for both artistic merit and topicality. Accordingly, interest in the winners in each institutional sector who will take home the trophies is also strong.
This time awards will be presented in a total of 19 categories. They broadly cover the grand prize for selecting this year's best drama, directing award and writing award, best actor and actress for mid-length drama, best actor and actress for long-form drama, excellence in acting awards for male and female in mid-length drama, excellence in acting awards for male and female in long-form drama, web drama acting awards for male and female, short-form drama acting award, male and female acting awards, male and female newcomer awards, and the youth child actor award.
The '2025 Seoulcon Apan Star Awards' is expected to once again demonstrate the stature of the one-and-only integrated drama awards ceremony by focusing attention on those active across platforms and genres.
The 'Apan Star Awards' is the only integrated drama awards ceremony in Korea that covers all domestic channels' content, including terrestrial broadcasters, general programming channels, cable, OTT and web dramas. Since its launch in 2012, it has continued its tradition for about 11 years, expanding exchanges with K-drama fans worldwide and driving vitality across the industry.
Past grand prize winners include Son Hyunjoo (1st), Song Hyekyo (2nd), Zo In-sung (3rd), Kim Soohyun (4th), Song Joongki (5th), Lee Byunghun (6th), Hyunbin (7th), Song Joongki (8th), and Lee Jun-ho (9th), among other prominent actors. At last year's 10th Seoulcon Apan Star Awards, Kim Taeri received the grand prize.
Meanwhile, the '2025 Seoulcon Apan Star Awards' will be held at 7 p.m. on the 29th at Art Hall 1 of Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) in Seoul and can be viewed on tvN and TVING.
