Spring Fever, which is about to premiere, released behind-the-scenes stills that offer a vivid glimpse of the atmosphere on set.
The new tvN Monday-Tuesday drama Spring Fever, scheduled to premiere on Jan. 5, 2026 (directed by Park Won-guk / written by Kim A-jeong / planned by CJ ENM STUDIOS / produced by Bon Factory), is a hot pink romance of spring days that will melt the frozen hearts of teacher Yoon Bom (Lee Joo-been) who feels the cold wind blowing and the man with a burning heart, Sun Jae-gyu (Ahn Bo-hyun).
The stills released today (the 28th) capture the diverse appearances of actors Ahn Bo-hyun (as Sun Jae-gyu), Lee Joo-been (as Yoon Bom), Cha Seo Won (as Choi Yi-jun), Cho Junyoung (as Sun Han-gyeol) and Lee Jaein (as Choi Se-jin). The five members of Spring Fever, who burn with acting passion, stimulate viewers' desire to tune in.
First, Ahn Bo-hyun draws attention as he intensely focuses while meticulously monitoring, and Lee Joo-been captures the eye as she reads the script carefully for her character. Ahn Bo-hyun and Lee Joo-been, who play Sun Jae-gyu and Yoon Bom, reveal an unusual chemistry that raises expectations for their on-screen rapport. The two naturally create chemistry, showing high concentration during filming and sharing jokes and laughter during breaks, maintaining a warm atmosphere on set, according to reports.
Next, Cha Seo Won deeply immerses himself in the elite lawyer character and draws attention with a serious, sharp expression during filming. Cho Junyoung and Lee Jaein also bring smiles as a combination that makes viewers beam just by looking. The relationship changes among Jae-gyu, Bom and Yi-jun that Lee Jun will bring, and the subtle emotional lines between Se-jin and Han-gyeol that emerge amid academic competition, are expected to make the drama more interesting.
The actors also picked out key points to watch in the drama, heightening interest. Ahn Bo-hyun said the point is "Jae-gyu's absurd actions," adding, "I hope people enjoy the process in which villagers misunderstand Jae-gyu (by appearance and behavior) and those misunderstandings are resolved." Lee Joo-been said, "More than 90% of the scenes unfold against the sea, nature and outdoor backdrops, offering rich visual pleasure," and noted, "the rapid-fire exchanges and the realistic yet lovable chemistry created when two protagonists with completely different personalities clash are a major attraction of the work."
Cha Seo Won said, "Because this is a work with an original, there is fun in making comparisons, and I hope viewers pay attention to the character sync rate and the adapted story." Cho Junyoung said, "Episodes that occur among characters from different backgrounds will resonate," and urged viewers to expect "a drama full of springlike love, just like the title." Lee Jaein said, "I want to point to 'the unpredictable relationship between Han-gyeol and Se-jin' as a viewing point," and added, "watch how the love-hate relationship between the school's first- and second-ranked students unfolds," making viewers look forward to the broadcast even more.
The new tvN Monday-Tuesday drama Spring Fever, which will warm viewers' hearts with warm laughter and excitement at the same time, will premiere at 8:50 p.m. on Jan. 5, 2026 (Mon).<
