Director Kim Seong-hoon, who directed the film "Confidential Assignment," paid tribute to the late Lee Sun-kyun on the second anniversary of his death.
On the 27th, director Kim Seong-hoon posted on his social media, "After that day, we had quite a lot of fun.. I don't have any bad memories. It's already been two years, are you doing well?" along with a photo.
In the released photo, the late Lee Sun-kyun is shown smiling broadly, drawing attention.
The late Lee Sun-kyun died on Dec. 27, 2023. He was 48.
The late Lee Sun-kyun was criminally investigated in Oct. 2023 on allegations of drug use and underwent questioning. During three police interrogations he protested his innocence, and Lee Sun-kyun's drug test results came back "negative." Nevertheless, his drug allegations were widely publicized from the preliminary investigation stage, and some media outlets exposed everything from past conversations between Lee Sun-kyun and a person identified as A to previously undisclosed police investigation details.
After completing his third police summons interrogation, Lee Sun-kyun died about two months after the investigation began, shocking the public.
