'Singer Lin, after spending her first holiday since her divorce, has recently left another meaningful social media post that is drawing fans' attention.
Lin last Chuseok updated her fans on her social media, saying, "Are you having a peaceful holiday? I arrived in Manila yesterday and I'm going to Seoul today," sharing her whereabouts. She added, "It was a tiring schedule, but thanks to those who welcomed me, I enjoyed it. I'm really resting for the first time in a long while," and also shared modest rest plans.
She went on to share, "I'll crochet an autumn scarf, and in the evening I'll eat cup noodles. Tomorrow I'll sleep in and take a walk on a newly discovered path. One drink and Netflix and the holiday will be winding down," calmly sharing her daily life.
The holiday drew extra attention because it was the first one Lin faced after announcing her divorce. Lin married Lee Su of MC the Max in September 2014, but news of their breakup came this past August, 11 years after their marriage.
Earlier, Lin appeared on MBN's "2025 Korea-Japan vocal contest" and drew attention when she cried while watching Shin Seung-tae's performance. When host Shin Dong-yeob asked the reason, Lin said, "The lyrics 'Don't apologize, you didn't do anything wrong' resonated with me," and added, "Faces of people I once thought I should have apologized to flashed by, and it felt comforting." Viewers responded that they too felt a lump in their throats at her emotional moment.
Meanwhile, Lin left another meaningful message. In the early hours of the 28th she posted a short line on her social media: "Even if I break, I was someone who wanted to hold someone." She did not add further explanation.
The post came about four months after news of her divorce surfaced, and online interpretations suggest it may reflect Lin's current feelings. A few days earlier she had shared footage of waves with Lee Su's song "Your Lights" as the background music, drawing attention. Because she has rarely openly displayed personal emotions since the divorce, consecutive social media posts have been attracting interest.
After tearful revelations, Lin is cautiously conveying her feelings through measured messages. Fans have continued to offer support and comfort in response to her actions.<
