'Gourmet Heo Yeong-man's Baekban Journey' Heo Yeong-man shared his thoughts on entering the AI era.
On the 28th broadcast, TV CHOSUN 'Gourmet Heo Yeong-man's Baekban Journey' (hereinafter 'Baekban Journey') featured big data expert Song Gil-young, who appeared and visited Paju with Heo Yeong-man.
That day Heo Yeong-man asked Song Gil-young, "Big data experts are unfamiliar to me, but I heard you are very busy."
Song Gil-young said, "I've been doing this for a long time. At first my job was to collect people's posts and photos and look for patterns in them. It's called data mining, data mininger," and explained, "When phones came out people started taking photos and leaving posts and everyone began that work. Then information increased and it came to be called big data. That was around 2010."
He continued, "This year the thing we worried and looked at most is the rapid automation and intelligence. AI systems had IQs under 100 last year but are now approaching 140. Everyone is getting smarter."
Heo Yeong-man asked, "To what extent will it affect individuals, workplaces and society?" Song Gil-young said, "Amazon in the U.S. says it will replace 30,000 people with AI. They will hand over (simple) tasks to machines and declared that we will deepen human work and do more profound work. Humans will probably do more abstract work."
Hearing this, Heo Yeong-man said, "The atmosphere suddenly turned cold."<
