Comedian Park Soo-hong moved many with his close friendship with junior comedian Son Heon-su.
Park Soo-hong posted a video titled "Uncontrollable charm! Watch Jae-i's interesting expressions — a first birthday party rivaling an awards ceremony" on his personal YouTube channel Park Soo-hong Happy Dahong on the 27th. The released video shows Park Soo-hong attending his close junior Son Heon-su's daughter's first birthday party with his wife and daughter.
In fact, Son Heon-su and Park Soo-hong are known to have a senior-junior relationship closer than family. Earlier, in April 2021, Park Soo-hong filed a complaint against his older brother and sister-in-law on charges of embezzlement under the Act on Aggravated Punishment of Specific Economic Crimes. According to the complaint, Park Soo-hong's older brother and sister-in-law are accused of embezzling about 6.2 billion won of Park Soo-hong's assets, including appearance fees and corporate funds, from 2011 to 2021 in the course of handling his management.
In this case, the first trial court found Park Soo-hong's older brother and sister-in-law guilty of embezzling 2 billion won of company funds, and acquitted them of embezzling 1.6 billion won of the younger brother's money, sentencing the older brother to two years in prison and acquitting the sister-in-law. However, in the second trial the older brother was sentenced to three years and six months in prison, and because the court judged there was a risk of flight a detention warrant was even issued. Park Soo-hong's older brother and sister-in-law have appealed.
