Kassy is teaming up once again with composer Jo Young-su.
Kassy will release Nexstar Project's second new song, "Anayo," on Jan. 2, 2026.
"Anayo" is the second song in the Nexstar Project following "Friend, our relationship is so sorrowful," which was released last Nov., and is a song Jo Young-su and Kassy worked on together long ago. Kassy pre-released this song at a concert held in Jan., leaving a strong impression on the audience present with its restrained melody and deep emotional line.
The lyric music video teaser released ahead of the release also calmly reflected the emotions the song holds, raising expectations. "Anayo. I love you, I do. Even if I know she loves him, I love her. I'll wait. If she ever looks at me, I can wait," some of the lyrics quietly convey the speaker's feelings who has long kept an unspoken heart. The composition, which focuses on the lyrics and the blank space without excessive production, naturally keeps attention on the sentiment that "Anayo" possesses.
"Anayo" is a song that contains the confession of a person who, knowing their loving feelings, cannot easily express them. On the restrained melody completed by Jo Young-su, the lyrics Kassy wrote herself are added, calmly unfolding the weight of a solitary love and the feeling of waiting.
