The Seasons : 10CM's Pat-Pat put on a stage with a lineup as dazzling as year-end award shows.
On the 26th, the KBS 2TV music talk show The Seasons : 10CM's Pat-Pat featured Yojo, Oksang Dalbit, Kang A-sol, Jang Deul-re, Thunder Lily, Luca Minor, Pengsoo, Yim Siwan, a person surnamed No (Park Sung-woong), So Su-bin, Jung Seung-hwan, Kim Young-ok, TOMORROW X TOGETHER Yeonjun, Roy Kim, and Kwak Beom-i, who presented a special year-end stage.
That episode was staged as the "great Sencybi party," a parody of "The Great Gatsby." MC "Sencybi" 10CM opened the show with the opening number Let It Snow! and artists from Wowsan Records — Yojo, Oksang Dalbit, Kang A-sol, Jang Deul-re, Thunder Lily, and Luca Minor — took the stage. In particular, Kim Yoon-ju, who introduced herself as "Sencybi's 'real' wife," provoked laughter with her playful chemistry with 10CM, and through The Seasons the couple performed the duet "Long Day, Long Night" together for the first time.
Next, Pengsoo, the youngest guest on The Seasons, attended the party. Dressed to the party's dress code for the "great Sencybi party" with a flashy headband, dress and high heels, Pengsoo captured attention with a 210cm presence and spontaneously sang 10CM's "Do you like spring??" in a Pengsoo version. Pengsoo then said, "In classical music there's Chopin; in pop there's 10Peng," and performed 10CM and Can's "Winter Story" with 10CM.
Then So Su-bin delivered sweet sentiment with Last Christmas, and Jung Seung-hwan joined to add warmth with the duet First Snow. Jung Seung-hwan revealed the behind-the-scenes story that he personally asked The Seasons production team for the stage with So Su-bin, saying, "Among male vocalists, So Su-bin sings the best," showing his fandom. In response, So Su-bin and 10CM replied, "Korea's No. 1 male vocalist is Jung Seung-hwan," creating a heartwarming moment.
National actress and beloved "MZ grandmother" Kim Young-ok appeared on a late-night KBS music program for the first time in her 68-year career, thanks to her connection from appearing in Jung Seung-hwan's new song music video. Known as a fan of Lim Young-woong, Kim Young-ok said of him, "I like him all," while jokingly warning, "Lately I haven't seen him much so other people are trying to look prettier," which drew laughter. She also clarified, "I have a confession to make here. I don't even know Lim Young-woong's phone number, but people think I'm very close and ask me, 'I have no way to tell him this—please pass this on to Lim Young-woong for me,' but it's just unrequited love." That day Kim Young-ok performed "A story of an elderly couple in their 60s" with Jung Seung-hwan, delivering deep resonance and emotion.
Yim Siwan, who visited The Seasons not as an actor but as a singer, said, "I came as a new singer, so you can make me do anything today," showing his determination. He showed his acting chops by immediately delivering famous lines from representative works such as Squid Game Season and Boyhood, and stirred emotion by singing Lean on My Shoulder to 10CM's guitar accompaniment. Also, Yim Siwan, who released his first solo album 15 years after his debut, performed the new song The Reason, delivering pleasant energy.
Park Sung-woong appeared as new singer No-gun and instantly turned the atmosphere noir with the memorable line "It's the perfect weather to sing." Park Sung-woong said he adopted the persona "singing gangster" with the mindset of breaking through head-on because Shinsegae from 12 years ago was so strong, explaining the behind-the-scenes of his stage name No-gun. Park Sung-woong, accompanied by Jo Jin-hyung and Choi In-ho, alumni of Physical: 100, as bodyguards, overwhelmed the audience and proved his solid vocal skills by passionately singing the new song "The Man from Nowhere" released under No-gun.
TOMORROW X TOGETHER's Yeonjun proved his hot stage manner with the new song Talk to You. Meanwhile, Roy Kim and Kwak Beom-i appeared in marine corps uniforms to stand beside Yeonjun and prove they are current "hot icons." Roy Kim and Kwak showed perfect chemistry with the marine corps swag in the performance of For You, but they failed amusingly at Yeonjun's challenge. Roy Kim removed his uniform and returned to the stage to sing Even If Spring Comes, completing an earnest performance.
Finally, 10CM presented the remake single Sweet Dream, released on the 12th, in a newly arranged version tailored to The Seasons' atmosphere, marking a meaningful finale to the "great Sencybi party."
Meanwhile, The Seasons : 10CM's Pat-Pat airs every Friday at 10 p.m. on KBS 2TV.
