Singer Yoon Jongshin, who canceled his year-end concert due to health issues, held a listening-session-style "cancellation show."
According to the entertainment industry on the 27th, Yoon Jongshin posted on his social media (SNS) on the 26th, "The world's first concert cancellation show. See you shortly."
The cancellation show was planned as an alternative performance after "2025 Yoon Jongshin Concert—What happened to me this year," scheduled for Dec. 24 to 28, was canceled for health reasons.
Yoon Jongshin had earlier canceled the subsequent shows, saying his vocal cords were not in good condition during the first performance on the 24th. He said, "With a cold accompanied by bronchitis, I concluded I couldn't deliver a good performance."
He added, "I'm sorry for causing confusion during your valuable year-end plans," and said, "Those who bought tickets should get a refund, and if you come at the original show time with your ticket, you can join me."
The cancellation show was reportedly conducted as a radio open recording and listening session. Some attendees said, "We were disappointed, but 'thanks to it,' we were actually able to hear even more of Jongsin-ong's stories."
Meanwhile, Yoon Jongshin is reportedly planning to hold a concert in the first half of next year. He said, "I'm already looking into venues with a goal of within February. Please give me a chance to make amends."
