Broadcaster Hong Seok-cheon candidly revealed practical concerns that arose as his adopted daughter's wedding approaches.
Hong Seok-cheon appeared on the YouTube channel "Yeouido Yuktoe Club," released on the 26th, and talked with the cast members about parenting and family. He said, "I hardly have worries from parenting, but these days my child's marriage is my biggest concern," conveying his changed interests. In particular, he showed the burden of the practical preparations, saying, "These days you have to book a wedding hall a year in advance."
Hong Seok-cheon went on to say that his daughter mentioned when she would like to get married first and asked about the number of guests. Meanwhile, Hong Seok-cheon was born in 1971 and turned 54 this year. He was the first celebrity in Korea to come out as gay, is widely recognized as the most famous gay person, and adopted his older sister's two children after she divorced in 2008.
