A return match between team Sinboom and team Gimyohan was announced on "Spike War."
The MBN sports variety show "Spike War," which airs on Dec. 28, will depict the reunion of team Sinboom and team Gimyohan a month later as they prepare to play another match.
In a previous episode, team Sinboom and team Gimyohan played their first match immediately after their volleyball teams were formed, with no preparation. At that time, both teams delivered a neck-and-neck contest that provided unexpected tension, and team Sinboom earned the first victory with a set score of 2-1.
And on that day the two teams reunited in Jeongseon, Gangwon, after a month to prepare for the rematch. Director General Kim Se-jin said, "This is a match of pride. Let's give it everything we've got," raising the fighting spirit of both teams' players. In response, Gimyohan team member Si Eun-mi provoked, "We won't let it go to a third set," and coach Shin Jin-sik increased the tension by saying, "We will win 3-0 no matter what."
Director General Kim Se-jin also evaluated the teams, saying, "(Watching the matches so far) the teams' colors have emerged. Gimyohan team has begun to develop cohesion, and Sinboom team's offense is becoming quite strong."
Gimyohan team member Li Yong-dae reportedly changed his overseas schedule for this rematch, arrived in Korea and joined the match immediately, showing he was serious about the rematch.
In particular, anticipation for the rematch between the two teams rises over how the bold move of changing positions tried by coach Kim Yo-han in the exhibition match against an amateur volleyball team held ahead of the rematch will affect the rematch to be played after the evaluation match.
