Actor Song Hyekyo drew attention with candid answers about her appearance.
On the 26th, a video titled "I received this question at the end of the year: Song Hyekyo is just funny when watching gag characters #Bface-to-face interview" was uploaded to the Harper's BAZAAR Korea channel.
Song Hyekyo communicated thoughtfully as she answered various questions sent directly by fans.
In response to the question "life advice you can give young fans as an older sister," she said, "I hope you enjoy that age well. There are things you can do at a certain age and things you can't do when you get older. It would be really good to do many good things," and added, "I traveled a lot, and I have many travel memories from when I was young. Whether the things you want to do result in good or bad outcomes, if you try them, you won't have regrets."
When asked "what thought comes to mind when you look in the mirror every day?" she laughed and said, "The answer everyone wants is 'oh, why am I so pretty?,' but when I was young I was chubbier when I looked in the mirror, so I often thought 'I need to lose weight quickly,' and these days when I look after makeup I think 'I like today's style' or 'it's a very new look,' and usually I think 'I look tired.'"
This year she made a special appearance in the Netflix series Genie, Make a Wish because of her friendship with writer Kim Eun-sook, and she said, "It was the first time I wore smoky makeup in a work. I only heard it was a certain role and went, but I didn't know I would be made up this glamorously. It was fun to film because I was made up like a character from a cartoon."
In the balance game, she chose "eat only vegetables for life" over "eat only meat for life," and she chose to dip the sweet-and-sour pork rather than pour the sauce on it. "I'm absolutely a dipper. I like to eat it crispy," she said. She chose "contact once a month" over "contact 100 times a day," and for a role she would like to try she selected "a dark heroine no one has ever seen" rather than "a good character." "I've played too many good roles," she added.
