"Seohayan YouTube" singer Im Chang Jung didn't lose his sense of humor even at fans' surprise event.
On the 26th, Seohayan's YouTube channel released a video titled "When I suggested a tteokbokki karrot transaction, husband Im Chang Jung's reaction (ft. birthday prank)."
Seohayan was in close contact with Im Chang Jung's fandom Ppapparagi that day. Fans had bought an Im Chang Jung advertisement on a Myeong-dong electronic billboard timed for Im Chang Jung's birthday on Dec. 24. To get him to Myeong-dong without Im Chang Jung knowing, Seohayan said, "I bought the tteokbokki meal kit I wanted to eat in a used transaction for 70,000 won. It's embarrassing so oppa has to come too," and dragged him along.
Im Chang Jung immediately recognized the fans as they poured out and said, "Why are you here?" The fans told him to "turn around," and as soon as he saw the billboard advertisement Im Chang Jung couldn't hide his laughter.
Im Chang Jung joked, "The billboard must be expensive; why not give it in money?" then said, "You met me here? In my 30 years in the entertainment industry I really didn't notice," adding, "The weather is very cold but my heart is very warm and it was a happy event.
