This is a review article written after watching the broadcast.
"Bi-seo-jin" Han Jimin sought revenge to resolve the "grudge" she held against Lee Seo-jin.
On the 26th episode of SBS variety show "My secretary is too prickly - Bi-seo-jin" (hereafter "Bi-seo-jin"), actress Han Jimin appeared as the 12th "my star" and scenes showed her bossing Lee Seo-jin around.
Arriving at "Bi-seo-jin" earlier that day, Han Jimin, while reading viewer comments, exclaimed in surprise, "How do people know that (Lee Seo-jin) bothers me so much? It really showed only the tip of the iceberg on the broadcast — how do they know all of it?" and lamented, "There were far more things not caught on camera. He acted like that the whole time we were together. Except when he treated me to a meal, it was like a feud from a past life."
Han Jimin also attracted attention by revealing she had suffered Lee Seo-jin's harassment throughout the filming of "Isan." She recalled, "He would knock me down when we passed the broadcasting station corridor. I was wearing hanbok and he dragged me like that, regardless of whether people saw. Also, I like bagged snacks and was eating a popular snack, and he said, 'Do you always eat that?' He would show off American snacks and brag about them."
She even said Lee Seo-jin played pranks on the last day of filming "Isan," stuffing her into a building. Han Jimin complained, "At the 'Isan' press conference when the reporters were all there, he called me a hobbit even though he himself isn't very tall," adding, "Don't people usually say, 'I found out that person is like that' and criticize? I don't know why the senior doesn't criticize. I think he met the right era," drawing laughter.
Han Jimin said she was also a little envious of Lee Seo-jin. She said of Lee Seo-jin, "Does he have stress? He only thinks of himself," but also said, "He earns money without doing much and at mealtime he only chased flies. I said, 'Senior, you make money for nothing,'" she said.
When she met Lee Seo-jin in earnest, Han Jimin set him to tasks ranging from driving to errands as part of her revenge. Reluctantly taking the wheel, Lee Seo-jin was reminded by Han Jimin of the guests so far, and she pointed out, "They all felt awkward and couldn't ask. There was nothing secretaries did. Rather, the guests served them."
At that point Kim Kwang-kyu asked, "Did you two fight?" and Han Jimin revealed, "I filmed 77 episodes of 'Isan.' But he treated me that way. He threw me onto the floor of MBC," she said. Flustered, Lee Seo-jin played coy, but Han Jimin insisted, "In the last episode he shoved me into the building while I was walking."
Kim Kwang-kyu then recalled an anecdote, saying, "I said I was close to Seo-jin and talked about it during 'Our Blues.' When I brought it up then, you told me, 'Don't talk about that man's story.'" At this, Lee Seo-jin expressed hurt, "Why do you remember only bad things?" and Han Jimin spoke of Lee Seo-jin's good points, saying, "He paid for meals a lot. He doesn't spare money for juniors," sharing a good story.
The two bickered all day. Furthermore, when Han Jimin flubbed a take during drama filming, Lee Seo-jin criticized her acting, asking, "Are you doing sloppy acting now?" To this, Han Jimin retorted, "No? If someone else taught me, I'd say 'thank you,'" adding, "You should be diligent yourself rather than giving acting lessons," bristling.
At the afterparty, Han Jimin kept bossing Lee Seo-jin around until the end while making him do extra work. But when asked, "Did you get your revenge?" Han Jimin admitted, "No. My grudge has grown."
Meanwhile, in an interview Lee Seo-jin praised Han Jimin, saying, "We spent almost 10 months together through thick and thin, so the years we shared are such that even if we meet occasionally we still have things to talk about and the relationship continues. He may or may not like me, but I've never thought badly of Jimin. She has a good heart."
On the other hand, regarding the "Isan" incident in which Lee Seo-jin never fully apologized, Han Jimin expressed anger, saying, "Half of it was successful and half left me feeling worse. If he had acknowledged our past, I would have thought at least he remembers, but how can he treat only my things differently?" which elicited laughter.
