Actor and singer Lee Jun confessed that the controversy over his remark 'monthly salary of 10 million won' was effectively a result he chose himself.
On the 26th, a video titled 'We met at 20, and already the day after tomorrow we'll be 40' was posted on Daesung's YouTube channel 'JibDaesung'. On that day Jeong Yong-hwa, Yoon Dujun, and Lee Jun appeared as guests, enjoyed a Christmas party and had candid conversations.
Lee Jun directly referred to the scene during his recent appearance on the YouTube show 'Workman' when he asked a café manager, "Don't you earn 10 million won a month?" and faced fierce criticism. He said, "Actually the production team wanted to cut that line," and "but I instead said to include it. I thought, 'Let's let people know Lee Jun is on Workman,'" which surprised everyone.
When Daesung asked, "So did you do it on purpose to stir up controversy?", Lee Jun said, "I didn't know it would grow this big. It became much noisier than I thought," conveying his embarrassment at the unexpected aftershock. Unlike the production team who had asked to cut the line, the fact that he himself wanted it aired led to reactions that he had 'brought the remark on himself.'
The conversation naturally turned to DinDin, who had sharply rebuked Lee Jun at the time. DinDin drew attention by saying, "Celebrities have no concept of the value of money," and later even earned the nickname 'sensible celebrity.' In response, Lee Jun said, "After that DinDin appeared on programs too much. Recently he even appeared on 'Pisik Show'," and jokingly added, "He's not someone who would become that much," drawing laughter.

Meanwhile, Lee Jun had again mentioned the controversy with DinDin in the 'Workman' content released on the 14th. He confessed, "I did a lot of part-time jobs and did dirty work. When I'm on air, there are times I throw out something without even knowing what I'm saying," and DinDin pointed out, "That's the problem. You always have to set a limit, but you take everything off, bro."
DinDin later recounted an aftermath. "On the day it aired I was filming '2 Days & 1 Night' and the reaction was okay. But I saw comments saying things to Jun," and "I asked if he was okay and he said, 'As long as the broadcast is fun, that's fine.' But the next evening suddenly a text came saying, 'I want to die,'" he revealed, drawing attention. The malicious comments had made Lee Jun considerably distressed. Lee Jun also said, "DinDin said, 'This isn't even a crime, why are you so upset?' and after hearing that I thought I would be less hurt by any comment I receive now."
Earlier, in August on 'Workman' while working part-time at a low-cost coffee franchise, Lee Jun asked, "Don't you make 10 million won a month?" and was heavily criticized, while DinDin's blunt reaction became a topic of discussion. Afterward, DinDin gained attention as a 'sensible celebrity,' while Lee Jun was showered with malicious comments.
Through this 'JibDaesung', Lee Jun revisited the controversy, saying, "I didn't know the line I wanted to include would blow up like this," and acknowledged that the aftermath was the result of his 'refusal to edit,' once again drawing attention.<
