The group Cortis (CORTIS) completely captured fans' hearts with their year-end stage.
Cortis (Martin, James, Juhun, Sunghyun, Geonho) performed the debut album intro track "GO!", which sparked a dance challenge craze, at the 2025 SBS Gayo Daejeon on Dec. 25. The five members traversed the vast Gocheok Sky Dome, showing overwhelming stage manner. Loud group singing echoed throughout the performance, making their popularity as a "global hit" palpable. A special cover stage for the "Coer" (COER, fandom name) was also presented for the year-end. They arranged "Jingle Bell Rock" in a hip-hop style and added rap verses written by the members to showcase the team's personality.
Cortis is noticeably growing its stature using year-end broadcasts and awards show stages as a springboard. The team's global audio and music streaming platform Spotify monthly listeners (number of listeners in the most recent 28 days) approached 8 million based on the latest data (Dec. 24). They set a personal best every day for 13 consecutive days (Dec. 12–24). Riding that momentum, cumulative streams for the debut album "COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES" and the intro track "GO!" exceeded 268.39 million and 93.44 million, respectively, putting them on the verge of establishing new "hundreds of millions" streaming milestones.
Social media indicators reflecting public popularity also rose dramatically. Cortis's official Instagram followers surpassed 8 million on Dec. 23. That means 1 million more followers were added in just 17 days after passing 7 million on Dec. 6. Performances and fancams from awards shows such as the 2025 MAMA Awards and 10th Anniversary Asia Artist Awards 2025 drew attention and appear to have translated into the team's popularity. Multiple year-end broadcasts are scheduled, including Dec. 29 on Japan's Nippon TV "Announcement! The most listened-to songs of the year ~Annual Music Awards 2025~", Dec. 30 "2025 MUSIC BANK global festival in Japan", and Dec. 31 "MBC Gayo Daejejeon", so their growth trend is expected to continue.
Cortis was chosen as the headliner for the "NBA Crossover concert series" at the Los Angeles Convention Center on Feb. 12 next year (local time). They are the first K-pop artists to appear. They were also selected for Pandora's "Artists to Watch 2026: The Pandora Ten" and have been named among "the best K-pop of the year" released by major foreign media and large music platforms, attracting global market attention.
