She said she divorced after finding that communication had completely broken down and she and her ex-husband had become strangers following too many fights during the marriage. She said she graduated from a university in California and that her father is a child welfare professor.

Not many people around me know I'm divorced, because I had a short marriage near the end of my 20s and I married against my parents' wishes," adding, "Baekhap said she would do it if she liked someone, and I also rashly pushed for a marriage my parents opposed, and we couldn't live together for even a year, though legally it was recorded as a year.
