The group ILLIT gave a colorful performance like a holiday gift, capturing the hearts of global fans.
ILLIT (Yuna, Minju, Moca, Wonhee, Iroha) performed the single album 1 title track 'NOT CUTE ANYMORE' and the mini album 3 track 'jellyous' at the 2025 SBS Gayo Daejeon held Dec. 25 at Incheon Inspire Arena.
That day ILLIT appeared in a chilly yet mysterious "ghost bride" concept styling that drew attention. The members' explosive energy and precise dance break increased immersion from the start. ILLIT then maximized the original's soft winter mood with a carol-style arranged performance of 'NOT CUTE ANYMORE'.
On the 'jellyous' stage ILLIT's lively side stood out. The five members delivered perfectly synchronized step choreography to a tempo that swept up in speed, giving a thrilling sensation. ILLIT's funky performance, combined with bright, upbeat sounds, instantly raised the temperature in the audience.
Also, Wonhee attracted attention by forming a special unit, "Snowmen," with BOYNEXTDOOR's Unhak. They reinterpreted IU's "Miri Merry Christmas (Feat. Thunder of MBLAQ)". Wonhee received praise for evoking a cozy holiday feeling with a clear, pure vocal tone and a charming performance. Immediately after the broadcast, keywords referring to the two appeared in X (formerly Twitter)'s real-time trends, such as "Snowmen," "Unhak Wonhee," and "Merry Donglemas," proving fans' high interest.
Meanwhile, ILLIT's "NOT CUTE ANYMORE" is receiving a hot response, riding short-form popularity at home and abroad. The song has held the top spot on South Korea's YouTube "daily shorts popular songs" chart for more than two weeks since Dec. 6, excluding only four days. It also ranked at the top of the YouTube "daily shorts popular songs" charts in 10 countries/regions, including the United States, the United Kingdom and Canada, leading global trends.
ILLIT will decorate the year-end with global fans across Korea and Japan. They will perform special stages on NTV's "Annual Music Awards" on Dec. 29, TBS's "67th Japan Record Awards" on Dec. 30, MBC Gayo Daejejeon on Dec. 31, and NHK's "76th Kōhaku Uta Gassen."
