Actor and singer Lee Jun directly revealed the behind-the-scenes story of the controversy over his remark about a "monthly salary of 10 million won."
On the 26th, a video titled "We met at 20, and already the day after tomorrow we'll be 40" was posted on Daesung's YouTube channel "JibDaesung." That day, Jung Yong-hwa, Yoon Dujun, and Lee Jun appeared as guests, enjoyed a Christmas party and had an honest talk.
That day Lee Jun mentioned the incident in which he asked a cafe manager during a recent appearance on the YouTube channel "Workman," "Don't you make 10 million won a month?" and received fierce criticism. He said, "Actually, the production team told me not to air that line," and confessed, "But I rather said to air it. I thought, 'Let's let people know Lee Jun is doing Workman,'" surprising everyone.
When Daesung asked, "Did you do it on purpose to cause a stir?", Lee Jun said, "I didn't think it would go that far. I didn't think it would get this noisy," conveying how taken aback he was by the unexpectedly large backlash.
The conversation naturally turned to DinDin. At the time DinDin sharply criticized Lee Jun's remark, saying, "Celebrities have no concept of the value of money," which drew attention and even earned him the nickname "a celebrity with a brain." About that, Lee Jun joked, "After that DinDin started appearing on programs too much.
