Group MONSTA X member Juheon raised excitement for his comeback by revealing the tracklist for his new release.
Starship Entertainment recently shared an image of the tracklist for Juheon's upcoming mini album 2, "光 (INSANITY)," scheduled for release on Jan. 5, on MONSTA X's official social media channels. The tracklist image grabbed attention at once with an intense visual that resembled a boxing match schedule.
According to the released tracklist, the new release "光 (INSANITY)" includes seven tracks in total: pre-release song "Push (Feat. 레이 of IVE)", title track "STING (Feat. Muhammad Ali)", "광 (Gwang)", "Fear", "Bite", "하늘에 머리가 닿을 때까지 (Feat. Tiger JK)", and "NO BRAIN NO PAIN".
In particular, the title track "STING (Feat. Muhammad Ali)" raises curiosity by listing the legendary boxer Muhammad Ali as a featured artist. "STING" serves as the central pillar that runs through the album's narrative, and it is expected to satisfy listeners' expectations by reflecting the identity of the solo artist 'JOOHONEY'.
Also, the flashy lineup of featured artists has drawn much attention. Artists including Tiger JK, who participated in "하늘에 머리가 닿을 때까지," and IVE's Ray, who was pre-released on the 22nd and has been receiving much love for "Push," joined forces as supporters spanning genres for Juheon. Interest is focused on the diverse musical synergies they will present throughout the album.
Having produced all tracks on his first solo debut album, Juheon again took credits for lyrics and composition on all seven tracks of this mini album 2, concentrating the full expanded artistic spectrum he embodies as rapper·singer·producer·director.
