Singer Seo Taiji shared an update after a year to mark Christmas.
On the 24th Seo Taiji posted a long message saying, "Unlike last year, it seems everyone is having a peaceful and calm Christmas this year."
He said, "I can't believe 2026 is already right around the corner. I worked hard this year too, but I'm sorry I don't think I can deliver the 'good news' that ?t-ros have been longing for. So today I'll share small news rather than 'good news,'" and announced there is no comeback news.
He continued, "One day I was watching Bon Appétit, Your Majesty with my family when suddenly the Joseon-era comeback home piece called (回家) appeared and the whole family burst out laughing, and I really enjoyed The Tyrant as well. We all watched holding Kleenex, and then suddenly at the final festival the rough ?t-ros came bounding out, and we cried and laughed. Then seeing the placards the ?t-ros were holding made me solemn again, and I wished quickly for a pelong-pelong winter to come to us," and said he traveled to Alaska.
He also said, "And I met Ellie after a very long time. Baby Ellie has grown into quite the young lady. She's already as tall as me, her personality is the same, and she has grown up pretty and well. She said she'll already be a college student next year," adding, "Ellie was the main figure of the ninth album and perfectly handled many schedules including singing, music videos and performances, so I was very proud and always felt sorry. She still remembers most of those times and said they were so fun, so I was grateful. The cute Dami, who was born during Ellie's prenatal care, followed Ellie a lot, and now both have grown up and get along like friends, giggling, so it's kind of unreal. The kids keep growing and it feels like only we are getting older," he said.
Finally Seo Taiji said, "Even the older ?t-ros are probably at an age when health checkup numbers are starting to worry them, so are you all taking care? I'm concerned too, but each day feels different. No matter how busy you are, take care of the most important thing, your health!! Our ?t-ros have many hardships from raising children, working, and already taking care of parents' health. But I hope our 'warm' memories become a deep support for each other even when we're far apart," he left a final greeting.

Did everyone see the Fest performance video uploaded two days ago? They say this performance ended well thanks to you all.
In particular, I was very grateful because everyone who created this performance really did their best.
I watched it on video for the first time too, and hearing Fest music after a long time reminded me of the day when I watched Fest together with ?t-ros in the past (especially the level-1 album scream shock lol). I'm looking forward to the new "This is Fest" musical to be presented.
Hmm.. the happiest thing this year? (Suddenly?) The (almost) completion of autonomous driving, which I've dreamed of since elementary school, made me the most overwhelmed and happy (it may seem random but I'm sincere lol)
Now we only need flying cars and robots to boss around; maybe our old age will have no worries thanks to the care of Optimus, which feels reassuring. lol
But because of AI I'm watching every day with narrowed eyes to see whether our children's future will shrink or become much bigger.
