That morning the death notice was posted through the late person's SNS. On that account, a post reading "We respectfully inform you. We announce the passing of Kim Young Dae. We apologize for not being able to contact you personally" was published, adding to the sorrow.
The funeral wake was set up in funeral hall 6 at Chung-Ang University Hospital, and condolence visits are possible from 10 a.m. on the 25th. The funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. on the 27th at Heukseok-dong Cathedral. The departure will be at 11 a.m. the same day, the burial site is Seoul Memorial Park, and afterwards the remains will be placed in the shelter of peace.
In particular, Kim Young Dae appeared that morning on CBS "Kim Hyun-jung's News Show," which was a pre-recorded broadcast, and talked about Christmas carols, and the death notice was announced right after the broadcast, making the shock even greater.

Heo Ji-woong shared memories of the deceased, saying, "When the other person likes what I like, I'm glad. When the other person abnormally likes what I abnormally like, my heart opens. With in-depth analysis and clear language he traced the trends of popular music including K-pop and was called the "national representative K-pop critic."
