On the 24th, the YouTube channel 'Big Mama Lee Hye-jung' released a video titled 'I saw the comments and ended up going to a plastic surgery clinic… (honest confession)'.
In the video, Lee Hye-jung said she went to a plastic surgery clinic because "I appeared on YouTube without makeup last time and saw many comments calling me ugly," and "I didn't know I was that ugly."
She continued, "If people scold you for being ugly, how can anyone live without losing confidence? I was really angry," and added, "So today I'm going to seek help that can completely transform my face." She explained she wanted to solve appearance concerns she had not been able to talk about until now.
During the consultation, Lee Hye-jung mentioned specific concerns such as drooping eyelids, nasolabial folds and deep cheek hollows. She said, "My eyes used to be big and slanted, but as I aged they became covered and aren't very visible," and "I'm most worried that I might look fierce."
The plastic surgeon drew lines directly on her face and explained thread lifting, eye surgery and lower eyelid surgery. After seeing the effect of thread lifting firsthand, Lee Hye-jung expressed anticipation, saying, "If it looks like this, shouldn't I do it? Can I really look this pretty?"
After hearing the estimate, she showed her characteristic frank reaction. Lee Hye-jung asked, "The most important thing is how much money should I bring?"
