Actor Choi Hwa-jung confessed to the tense moment when she nearly lost her companion dog Juni and her deep maternal love.
On the afternoon of the 25th, a video titled "Choi Hwa-jung's perfect year-end party food set up without lifting a finger (Costco recommended items Top 10)" was posted on the YouTube channel "Hello, this is Choi Hwa-jung."
Choi Hwa-jung recounted the story of how her companion dog Juni hovered between life and death. Choi Hwa-jung, cautiously beginning, said, "I even looked into Juni's funeral," and conveyed how her entire life was shaken at the time by the dog's worsening health.
One day Juni suddenly fainted and fell from the bed, and his condition rapidly worsened, even passing bloody stool. After receiving a call during filming that he needed to be moved to a higher-level hospital, Choi Hwa-jung recalled with reddened eyes, "Upon hearing that news, the first thought was that I might not be able to do YouTube anymore. If Juni were gone, it felt like my life would cease to exist."
At the time, the hospital diagnosed Juni's chance of survival as only 10%. Despite the recommendation for surgery, Choi Hwa-jung decided to bring him home instead of having him spend his last moments on a cold hospital bed. She recalled the painful memory, saying, "I told myself to pull myself together because I'm his mother and looked into funeral homes, and I was really choked up."
But perhaps thanks to Choi Hwa-jung's desperate care, a miracle came. Juni miraculously regained strength and recovered his health. Choi Hwa-jung said, "Recently he's been so healthy that he even wets the floor and gets scolded," and shared the update that she has regained a bright smile, drawing attention.
