Singer MC Mong, entangled in an affair allegation with Cha Gawon, chairman of One Hundred, conducted a live broadcast to explain everything and reiterated his explanation.

Earlier, a media outlet reported that MC Mong and Cha Gawon had an extramarital affair in the past, and that after their breakup MC Mong terminated his contractual relationship with One Hundred. It also claimed that during the affair period Cha Gawon wired an amount reaching 12 billion won to MC Mong, and that as a result MC Mong incurred a debt of 12 billion won.
As evidence supporting this, a KakaoTalk conversation that MC Mong and Cha Gawon allegedly exchanged was reported. Among it were contents that suggested Cha Gawon discussed having a child with MC Mong, and shocking claims that MC Mong mentioned azoospermia and that Cha Gawon prepared in vitro fertilization injections for three months.
However, MC Mong refuted those claims on his personal social media, saying that none of it was true. He alleged that Cha Gawon's uncle, Cha Jun-young, came to him and threatened him to give up his shares in Big Planet Made, and that in the process he passed along even fabricated conversations that manipulated the relationship between Cha Gawon and a friend of his. Afterwards, One Hundred also issued an official statement saying, "The article content and the KakaoTalk conversations are all not true."
That day MC Mong looked back on the founding of Big Planet Made, saying, "We started small and gathered artists such as Ha Sung-woon, Soyou, Huh Gak, Lee Mujin and VIVIZ. There were many difficulties as we built it. I fell out with the first investor, and the second investor who came in was Cha Gawon."
He said the two already knew each other. He said, "But Cha Gawon's uncle claimed he owned 10% of the equity. He suggested that if you combine his, mine and Park Jang-geun's equity, we could push Chairman Cha out and suggested we take over the company. I firmly refused, and from then on various rumors circulated," and added, "That Cha Gawon is dating me, that Cha Gawon is this or that, that Cha Gawon meets artists, that he doesn't meet them."
MC Mong said, "Chairman Cha is the baby's mother. She is the baby's mother, and she and I had an inseparable relationship. We fought and quarreled a lot, but I really supported and cheered for him. But the uncle's scheming was something I did to deceive that person. He kept coaxing me, threatening me, came to my house and threw a coffee cup, and slapped me. Still, I endured. I thought I had to endure it."
MC Mong, who said all the reported KakaoTalk messages were fabricated, said, "I will sort out and leave the company. What I felt while running the company was that the risk called me, MC Mong, could not be helped. No matter how hard MC Mong worked, how many songs he wrote, no matter how much I tried to prove myself or how hard I tried for the artists, they suffered because of me. That couldn't be tolerated. So I decided to leave the company. If I didn't leave, I felt I would burst from the inside."
MC Mong also denied the affair again, saying, "Chairman Cha and I fought a lot. We were different rationally. I was on the artists' side, and that friend was very conservative about concepts related to the company. He is a friend who is devoted to his family. But that friend and I always met with artists. When the article came out, all BPM and One Hundred artists probably laughed. I hope this kind of fabrication would not be possible in our country."
Finally, MC Mong expressed anger, saying, "I did not make up the sperm story. I deleted the Instagram post because it was vulgar. It is a maddening Christmas Eve, Christmas. I turned on the live because I didn't want to avoid it. If I hide and avoid like before, you all believe it. Again you believe it. If I remain silent and hide several times, you all believe it again. You call me 'sperm-mong,' 'affair-mong,' and do all sorts of things."
He said, "So please stop. I beg you," and added, "BPM is something they work hard on. I support Chairman Cha, and I still support him. I still talk with him, and if he has good ideas we discuss them. Meanwhile, One Hundred is an entertainment agency established in 2023 by Chairman Cha Gawon and MC Mong, and it has Big Planet Made (BPM), Million Market and INB100 under its umbrella. MC Mong stepped down as co-founder and chief producer of One Hundred in May.
