'Exclusive World' actor Shin Jun-young could not resolve his conflict with his father and steadied his heart.
On the 25th, MBN's 'Exclusive World' featured actor Shin Jun-young, well known for villain roles. While working in theater and directing and still loving acting, he was a tender son, a son-in-law and a father to his family.
He was hurt by his parents' divorce when he was young. His mother left, but he suffered continuously because of the father's violence inflicted whenever he met his mother. When he reunited with his mother he was an adult, and he had an empty childhood. Thanks to his father-in-law and mother-in-law he was able to fill that love, but conflict with his father remained.
The son who was doted on by his grandfather said, "My grandfather doted on me a lot when I was young, so I have no bad memories. That's why I learned about the stories of my father and grandfather later. Actually, I think it's harder for a son to approach his father than for a father to approach his son. So I want to help my father," supporting his father. Shin Jun-young worried that he might not have properly reached out to his son, but his son, Dong-min, said, "I always thought there was a lot to learn from my father, and I know how my father feels about me even if he doesn't say it. My father is a cool person to me," supporting his father.
However, Shin Jun-young's father did not answer his son's calls, and Shin Jun-young left his birthday present in front of his father's house and turned away.
