Singer Seo Taiji shared an update after a year and revealed his suddenly grown daughter, but his wife Lee Eun-sung was not seen.
On the 24th, Seo Taiji posted a long message titled "a peaceful 2025 Christmas Eve" on his official channel. He opened by saying, "I can't believe 2026 is already just around the corner," then first mentioned the music activities fans are most curious about.
He said, "Although I lived this year diligently, I'm sorry to say I don't think I can deliver the 'good news' fans dearly hope for," informing there would be no news of a new album or concerts. He then softened fans' disappointment with an apologetic tone and a joking remark that "there's a sinister rumor that fans no longer even expect anything."
In particular, attention was drawn to Seo Taiji watching his 2014-born daughter Dami, who has already become a teenage girl, fitting in with child actress Ellie who had appeared in a music video. Seo Taiji said, "It's somehow surreal. The kids keep growing and only we seem to be getting older."

While Seo Taiji communicates by sharing updates every year, actress Lee Eun-sung, who married Seo Taiji, has in fact retired from the entertainment industry. Lee Eun-sung, who debuted through the 2003 KBS2 drama "Hello Franceska" (반올림), appeared in films such as "Dasepo Naughty Girls," "The Old Garden," "The Game," and "Take Off," and in dramas such as "Que Sera, Sera," "Hapless Detective Agency," and "I Am Happy."
Noted for her large eyes without double eyelids, deep dimples, and a boyish yet cold-looking appearance, Lee Eun-sung, who appeared in numerous advertisements, surprised the public with the news of her marriage to Seo Taiji in 2013 after stepping away from entertainment activities following the 2008 release of the film "Take Off" and the drama "I Am Happy."
