Actress Song Ji-hyo recently reportedly broke up after an eight-year relationship, and Running Man members expressed their disappointment.
On the 25th, a video titled "Christmas party ft. Kim Jong Kook, Yang Se-chan, Ji Ye-eun" was released on the YouTube channel "Song Ji-hyo."
At the party room Song Ji-hyo had lovingly decorated, Running Man members including Kim Jong Kook, Yang Se-chan and Ji Ye-eun visited. Kim Jong Kook said, "I used to put ribbons on dumbbells and make a tree out of exercise equipment and work out," which drew laughter.
While talking about various things, Song Ji-hyo said to Yang Se-chan, "You broke up with your girlfriend not long ago." Yang Se-chan, seemingly at a loss over Song Ji-hyo's baseless breakup rumors attack, expressed his frustration, saying, "They spread that I broke up on other channels too."
In response, Kim Jong Kook said to Song Ji-hyo, "You actually dated for eight years, and (that it wasn't noticed) was a shock to us." Yang Se-chan clicked his tongue and said, "I was dating continuously from when I joined Running Man," and Song Ji-hyo brushed it off with a laugh, saying, "I just didn't talk about it."
In the following talk, Christmas events and cost-effective dating rose as topics. Song Ji-hyo and others said that because of their profession as entertainers, it's hard to properly celebrate Christmas, and Song Ji-hyo said, "I don't like wine or whiskey. If there's just soju with hangover soup, that's the ultimate cost-effective option." Ji Ye-eun said, "I like events. I buy hard-to-find cakes or make them myself."
Meanwhile, it was revealed that Song Ji-hyo had not removed the plastic from a new car for over a year, surprising viewers, and regarding the direction of her YouTube channel going forward, she raised expectations after receiving recommendations for mukbang. Song Ji-hyo said, "You worked so hard this year. A year without bad events is the best."
