Group i-dle (i-dle) Miyeon (MIYEON) delivered a warm Christmas gift to fans.
Miyeon released a cover video of Wham!'s 1980s British pop duo song "Last Christmas" at 12 a.m. on the 25th on i-dle's (Miyeon, Minnie, Soyeon, Yuqi, Shuhua) official social media channels.
Miyeon drew attention with everyday scenes leading up to Christmas, decorating a tree and making cookies in a space full of year-end atmosphere. Through her signature vocal cover of "Last Christmas," she expressed heartfelt thanks to the fans who gave unwavering love and support throughout the year.
"Last Christmas" was released by Wham! in 1984 and is characterized by its upbeat melody and contrasting lyrics. While the song has been remade by many famous pop singers, Miyeon offered a different winter sensibility with her clear, crystalline tone.
Miyeon released her second mini album "MY, Lover" last month, showing deeper vocals and sensibility as a solo artist. She also showcased a diverse musical spectrum by covering various songs in her own style, such as i-dle Yuqi's "Radio (Dum-Dum)," through her YouTube channel "MiyeonZip" segment "Miyeon's Mutro."
Meanwhile, i-dle, which includes Miyeon, will begin their fourth world tour, 2026 i-dle WORLD TOUR [Syncopation], on Feb. 21 and 22 at KSPO DOME in Songpa-gu, Seoul, continuing meetings with global fans.
