SEVENTEEN's new unit Dokyeom X Seungkwan, set to debut in January, captured global fans' attention by releasing additional official photos that convey the lingering emotions of love.
HYBE music label PLEDIS Entertainment Co. posted the Dokyeom X Seungkwan mini album 1 "Soyagok" official photo 청흔(靑痕) version and compact (COMPACT) version in succession on SEVENTEEN's official SNS on the afternoon of the 23rd.
First, the 청흔 version, meaning "blue mark," shows the traces of emotion left after love has faded. Countless love letters are piled like structures behind Dokyeom X Seungkwan, evoking a wistful sentiment. It seems the feelings of love accumulated over a long time have left a lingering trace without fully disappearing.
In another photo, the two members' deeper gazes stand out. Their refined and calm aura conveys an attraction different from before. The portraits of Dokyeom and Seungkwan decorating the wall present the texture of emotions they built over long periods as if a single work of art.
The final compact version minimally captures the two faces, drawing attention to the narrative contained in fleeting expressions. Following the official photos of the 소연(素戀) version that captured pure moments of love, the two restrainedly directed versions were additionally unveiled, gradually heightening anticipation for the new release "Soyagok."
"Soyagok," set for release at 6 p.m. on Jan. 12, 2026, is a work that unfolds all processes between meeting and parting — from listlessness and discord to new beginnings — through emotional storytelling. The album title contains the meaning "a love song sung at night (serenade)." The team's main vocalists Dokyeom X Seungkwan filled the new record with music about ordinary love that everyone can relate to and empathize with.
