'Jusaimo' controversy is rocking the entertainment industry, and singer Hong Jin-young was swept up in allegations but has been confirmed not to be involved.
On the 23rd, OSEN reporting found that the photo of Hong Jin-young and A, who is called 'Jusaimo' and has been circulating online recently, was taken about 12 years ago, and the two are not known to have any friendly relationship. Hong Jin-young's side strongly denied the allegations, saying, "It was 12 years ago so she has no recollection at all, and she has no relationship with A."
Earlier, on the 22nd, a YouTube channel released a photo of Hong Jin-young taken with A, raising speculation about their acquaintance. As this photo spread, the 'Jang Narae gate' called the Jusaimo controversy extended to Hong Jin-young. However, reporting found that the photo was an old picture taken at a hospital when Hong Jin-young was active in 'Boogiman' after 'Love Battery.'
Hong Jin-young's agency said in an official statement, "The photo is presumed to have been taken at a hospital about 12 years ago. Hong Jin-young herself said the timing of the photo is so long ago that she has no memory of the Lee OO person who appears with her," and drew a line, saying, "They are not even in an SNS follow relationship, nor do they have a personal acquaintance." They added, "During past activities, there were many cases where various sponsored verification photos were taken upon request, and this photo appears to be one of those."
'Jusaimo' A was first mentioned during disclosures by former managers of comedian Park Narae. Allegations emerged that he administered injections and IVs to celebrities for money without a Korean medical license, and that he arranged the proxy prescription and delivery of psychotropic drugs, placing him at the center of the controversy. In the process, the names of several entertainers, including Jung Jae-hyung, SHINee's Key and Onew, Jun Hyun-moo, Ippjalbeun Haetnim, and Kang Minkyung, were mentioned and the entertainment industry buzzed for a while.
Park Narae's side explained, "She only received nutrient injections from someone with a medical license," but circumstances indicating that A did not have a domestic medical license emerged and the controversy grew. Ultimately, on the 8th, a complaint was filed with the Seoul Gangnam Police Station accusing Park Narae, A, former managers, and unnamed medical personnel and pharmacists of violating the Narcotics Control Act (psychotropic), the Medical Service Act, and the Pharmaceutical Affairs Act, among other charges.
As the 'Jusaimo' controversy spread, Hong Jin-young also became a subject of suspicion over an old photo, but OSEN reporting confirmed she had no connection to A, revealing the matter to be an unnecessary misunderstanding.
Hong Jin-young's side repeatedly emphasized, "Please refrain from speculative allegations and reporting that are not factual." As the 'Jusaimo' gate sweeps the entertainment industry, caution is required so that another victim does not emerge based solely on unverified photos and claims.
