"Enjoy couple" Son Minsu, Im Lara will appear with their twins on KBS2 parenting variety show "The Return of SUPERMAN".
On Jan. 24, OSEN reported that Son Minsu and Im Lara recently decided to join KBS2's national parenting variety show "The Return of SUPERMAN." The two will officially join The Return of SUPERMAN as a new family with their twin siblings in mid-Jan. next year. Recording has already finished, and curiosity is growing about the real-life daily life of the novice father and mother raising twins.
Regarding this, a representative of The Return of SUPERMAN also said, "Comedian couple Son Minsu and Im Lara will appear as The Return of SUPERMAN's new family," and released an official statement.
Earlier, after a decade-long relationship, Son Minsu and Im Lara married in 2023, and they attracted much attention by sharing their dating process on their YouTube channel "Enjoy couple."
After marrying, Son Minsu and Im Lara became pregnant with twins through in vitro fertilization and gave birth to twin siblings in Oct. However, at the time Im Lara had obstetric pruritus symptoms and decided to undergo a cesarean section earlier than the due date. Although she safely delivered the twins after the surgery, unexpected postpartum bleeding soon occurred. While recovering, Im Lara repeatedly fainted and was eventually taken to the emergency room three days after the surgery. After receiving blood transfusions and hemostatic treatment, Im Lara regained stability and revealed, "I fainted 10 times. I really thought I was going to die," and added, "I was able to endure thanks to those who prayed for and supported me."
Meanwhile, The Return of SUPERMAN has been loved by the public for 13 years since it first aired in 2013. Following Eun-woo in 2023, in the second and third weeks of June this year, The Return of SUPERMAN's Jung-woo ranked in the top 10 for two consecutive weeks in the TV-OTT non-drama appearance popularity category, proving he is the youngest and most talked-about sibling. In the second week of Aug., in the same category, The Return of SUPERMAN's Haru and Shim Hyungtak simultaneously entered the top 10, proving viewers' heated interest.
