Global hip-hop group THREADZ member 2NG posted a personal daily confession on Threads that is rapidly spreading with high empathy scores.
On the 22nd, 2NG posted on his Threads account a message that began with the sentence "I know my wife is looking at my thread." Written in the form of finally unable to hold back the story he had kept secret for weeks, the post candidly recounts the Christmas gift he prepared for his wife, the excitement in the process, and his caution about being found out.
The post quickly spread after being made public, surpassing 160,000 views in one day, and recorded a strong response with about 2,700 likes and more than 800 comments. Reposts continued, creating a voluntary sharing flow among Threads users.
In the post, 2NG joked, "My wife is a German who can speak Korean, but she definitely won't be able to read this, right?" and added the request, "Even if you know the answer, please keep it secret for just four days," portraying the realistic daily life of a couple. In particular, expressions such as "I feel relieved just writing this" and "bamboo forest is the best after all" read as using Threads as an emotional outlet and drew sympathy.
Comments included reactions such as "I end up reading it all the way through for no reason," "a piece that smells like a person," and "stories like this stick more than promotions," and evaluations have also emerged that everyday confession-style content fits well with the characteristics of the Threads platform.
Earlier, on the 22nd, 2NG also drew attention with a post introducing the team's hip-hop and R&B Christmas carol "Z-mas." At the time, the plain request "please listen once when you have time" resonated and led to natural spread.
THREADZ is a global hip-hop group of three artists connected through the social media platform Threads that went on to release actual music, with each member directly participating in lyrics, composition and production overall, demonstrating the possibilities of online-based collaboration.
