Actor Kim Shin-bi has confirmed her appearance in SBS' Flex x Cop 2, reuniting the Flex x Cop team that was loved by the public.
Kim Shin-bi has confirmed her appearance in SBS's new Friday-Saturday drama Flex x Cop 2 (produced by Studio S, Big Ocean ENM, Bae A Entertainment) which depicts the story of a spoiled third-generation chaebol who becomes a detective in the violent crimes unit and pursues a "money for money, connections for connections" flex (FLEX) investigation. Season 1 achieved a peak viewership rating of 11% and generated significant buzz, and actor Kim Shin-bi, who played 최경진, the MZ youngest detective of Gangha Police Station's violent crimes unit, won the 2024 SBS Drama Awards male rookie actor award through Flex x Cop.
In this season 2, Jin Eesu (played by Ahn Bo-hyun), a third-generation chaebol detective who became a cop by chance but found his calling and camaraderie in the process, completes formal training at the police academy and returns to the violent crimes unit 1, but a chaotic cooperative story is expected to unfold when the devilish instructor who disciplined Jin Eesu at the police academy, Joo Hyera (played by Jung Eun-Chae), is appointed as the new team leader.
Kim Shin-bi will return as corporal Choi Kyung-jin, showing more growth than in season 1 and adding a lovely charm while demonstrating sharp investigative skills.
