Ahn Bo-hyun and Lee Joobeen's unusual romance begins
The new tvN Monday-Tuesday drama Spring Fever, scheduled to premiere on Mon., Jan. 5, 2026 (directed by Park Won-guk / written by Kim A-jung / planned by CJ ENM STUDIOS / produced by Bon Factory), is a hot pink spring romance that will melt the frozen hearts of teacher Yoon Bom (Lee Joobeen) who feels the bitter wind and the man with a burning heart, Seon Jae-gyu (Ahn Bo-hyun).
Promising a fresh flutter as a one-of-a-kind springtime romance, Spring Fever raises high expectations even before airing, not only for bringing together trend actors Ahn Bo-hyun and Lee Joobeen whom audiences trust, but also because director Park Won-guk, who directed Marry My Husband, which recorded the highest ratings in tvN Monday-Tuesday drama history, is at the helm.
Meanwhile, on the 23rd, the Spring Fever side released a video showing the meeting between high school teacher Yoon Bom, who lives as a self-imposed outsider, and the dangerous man Seon Jae-gyu.
Seon Jae-gyu, a person of interest who makes the village buzz with unpredictable behavior, appears in Yoon Bom's otherwise bland daily life. Because of his large build and rough appearance, Jae-gyu is stigmatized among the townspeople as a dangerous figure. At his appearance, Bom could not hide her surprise, saying, "It's an unusual vibe I've never seen before." The unexpected first meeting of the two hints at the beginning of a full-fledged romance.
Jae-gyu abruptly shouts "Beauty!" at Bom, giving her an unfamiliar mix of tension and excitement she has never experienced. As Jae-gyu's unabashed advances and unprecedented flirting toward Bom continue, the nerve-wracking confrontation between Jae-gyu and Choi I-jun (Cha Seo Won) surrounding Bom is also depicted, raising curiosity about how the relationships among Bom, Jae-gyu and I-jun will evolve.
Spring Fever, the new tvN Monday-Tuesday drama that promises the excitement to open the door to 2026 with an unusual vibe never seen before, will premiere on Mon., Jan. 5, 2026, at 8:50 p.m.
