Hyoyeon was asked whether she was dissatisfied for not being able to take the main vocal in Girls' Generation. Lee Sang Min asked, "Shouldn't the main be good at singing?" and Hoyeon showed displeasure, saying, "I sing well. I have many solo albums."
Hyoyeon said frankly, "It's the fate of a large group. I also sang well, but because I didn't have parts, my singing didn't improve. It felt like I was regressing. I lost confidence. When I asked, 'Can I encroach on the vocal part?' they didn't even listen with their ears."
Hyoyeon also said she planned to form Hyolisu as a rival to TaeTiSeo. Hyoyeon said, "We said we would form Hyolisu, and Taeyeon being quiet about it made me more upset. Sooyoung asked why my name was at the very front," which drew laughter.
Hyoyeon said that in the past she almost died trying to take Taeyeon's high-note part. Hyoyeon said, "There used to be many things I couldn't do because of image, but now I think there's nothing I can't do. You can check and refine hitting the high notes," she said.
