'Dynamite Kiss' Kim Joo-heon and Kwak Si-yang make special appearances.
SBS Wednesday-Thursday drama 'Dynamite Kiss' (written by Ha Yoon-ah, Tae Kyung-min / directed by Kim Jae-hyun, Kim Hyun-woo / produced by Studio S, Samhwa Networks) is drawing explosive reactions at home and abroad. The charming male and female leads Gong Ji-hyeok (played by Jang Ki-yong) and Go Da-rim (played by Ahn Eun-jin)'s dopamine-filled romance, intuitive yet romantic lines, and rhythmically directed scenes that swing between comedy and excitement are creating perfect synergy and are said to have precisely targeted the tastes of rom-com fans around the world.
Among the global hit points of this 'Dynamite Kiss' that cannot be missed is its flashy 'special appearance' lineup. Actors whose names alone raise expectations appear unexpectedly and leave an off-the-charts presence. Lee Seo-jin and Kim Kwang-kyu appeared as a male-male couple in the first episode, and Namkoong Min and Kim Ji-eun appeared in episode 9 to show the unchanging 'Cheonbyeon' chemistry. They elicited admiration with the reaction 'As expected!' and brought great fun to viewers.
Meanwhile, on Dec. 23 the 'Dynamite Kiss' production team drew attention by revealing the special-appearance actors who will cheerfully decorate episodes 13 and 14. They are Kim Joo-heon and Kwak Si-yang.
In photos released by the production team, Kim Joo-heon wears a doctor's coat as if he were the Park Min-guk character he played in the popular SBS drama Dr. Romantic series. Kim Joo-heon's cold gaze and rather serious expression are striking. Meanwhile, Kwak Si-yang has transformed into a handsome young farmer. His small face and boyish smile visible under a straw hat and his surprisingly broad shoulders that contrast with that image instantly stir women's hearts. Questions grow about what roles Kim Joo-heon and Kwak Si-yang will each appear as and what connections they will have with the protagonists.
Regarding this, the 'Dynamite Kiss' production team said, "In episodes 13 and 14 airing this week, Kim Joo-heon and Kwak Si-yang will make special appearances. Both actors gladly accepted the production team's request to make special appearances." They added, "Kim Joo-heon and Kwak Si-yang showed an amazing presence with performances that move between seriousness and comedy, turning the set into a sea of laughter. We want to express our gratitude to the two actors once again. We ask for much interest and anticipation for in what situations the two actors will appear and what kind of acting they will show."
Following Lee Seo-jin, Kim Kwang-kyu, Namkoong Min and Kim Ji-eun, Kim Joo-heon and Kwak Si-yang join as special appearances. The SBS Wednesday-Thursday drama 'Dynamite Kiss', which will remain cheerful and enjoyable until the end, will air episode 13 on Wednesday, Dec. 24 at 9 p.m. and episode 14 on Thursday, Dec. 25 at 10 p.m.
