Oh My Girl's Seunghee appears on Radio Star and, along with the recent developments that led to the unique label "shamanism idol," she directly addresses various misunderstandings that have surrounded her. She candidly shares everything from the reason she became interested in shamanism after experiencing the samjae this year to the strange incidents that happened after she had a prophetic dream, drawing attention.
The Dec. 24 broadcast of MBC's Radio Star (planning: Kang Young-sun / directors: Yoon Hye-jin, Hwang Yoon-sang, Byeon Da-hee) is presented as a "Christmas special: with joy," featuring Nam Jin, Sul Woon-do, Jadu and Seunghee.
Seunghee candidly speaks about a period when anxiety and worry overlapped while she was going through the samjae. She said, "I didn't have much work this year so I was mostly at home, and they said it was samjae," and, noting that she has long been interested in shamanism and did it often, she drew laughter. In particular, after describing a prophetic dream, she reveals a strange anecdote she actually experienced that captures the MCs' attention.
Reportedly weighing 40kg, Seunghee confronts various fake news that arose after her weight loss head-on with the remark "I caught the day today," and she clears up accumulated misunderstandings one by one, focusing the studio.
Seunghee raises the atmosphere instantly by showcasing a variety of vocal styles that freely cross trot, folk songs and pop. She said, "At that time I really only saw green," and explained that not only her clothes but props and even the color of her phone naturally matched green, describing honestly how she ultimately passed the audition and the earnestness she felt at the time.
