Actor Park Han-byul appeared at an official event for the first time in six years since her husband's Burning Sun controversy.
On the 23rd afternoon at the CG Art Hall of the Construction Hall in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, the 29th Chunsa International Film Festival was held.
Park Han-byul served as an MC at the Chunsa International Film Festival and walked the red carpet. She appeared wearing a gray dress printed with floral patterns, showing off her unchanged beauty.
She later posted on social media, "Wearing a dress and attending a film festival after a long time felt very moving. I was honored to be the host. Congratulations to all the winners," expressing her thoughts.
Park Han-byul's appearance at an official event comes six years after the controversy related to her husband, former Yuree Holdings CEO Yoo In-suk's involvement in the Burning Sun affair, which surfaced in 2019.
Earlier, Park Han-byul married former CEO Yoo in 2017 and gave birth to two sons. However, in 2019, Yoo was embroiled in allegations of being involved in the Burning Sun gate, and Park Han-byul suspended her broadcasting activities for more than five years after finishing the drama "When Sadness Loves" that year.
Afterwards, Park Han-byul moved to Jeju with her two sons, opened a café and became its owner, and began communicating with the public through social media. She also worked to protect her family, including submitting a petition during former CEO Yoo's legal proceedings.
In 2024, Park Han-byul announced her return to activity by signing an exclusive contract with a new agency, returned to television after six years by appearing on TV CHOSUN "Dad and I," and is preparing for the release of the film "Karma."
As Park Han-byul, who also communicates with fans through her YouTube channel, has fully returned to activities, attention is focused on what kind of performances she will show.
