A special collaboration stage featuring Hwang Garam of 'I Am a Firefly' and the actors who lit up SBS this year came together at the '2025 SBS Drama Awards'.
The '2025 SBS Drama Awards,' which will air at 8:50 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2025, is staged as a meaningful time to see at a glance the SBS dramas and actors who received great love this year by capturing both ratings and public attention. Among them, singer Hwang Garam and the 'Try' team, the drama dubbed the 'youth version of Stove League,' are scheduled to perform a collaboration stage, drawing attention.
The drama 'Try: We Become a Miracle' is an unpredictable story about an eccentric director Ju Garam and the perpetual last-place Hanyang Physical Education High School rugby team racing toward a national sports festival victory, a comic coming-of-age sports drama. It received praise for once again proving the reputation of SBS as a prestigious maker of sports dramas, following 'Stove League' in 2020 and 'Racket Boys' in 2021. Especially for this stage, the 'rugby team' members Kim Yohan, Kim Dan, Yoon Jae-chan, Kim I-jun, Lee Soo-chan, Hwang Sung-bin, Woo Min-gyu and the 'shooting team' Park Jeong-yeon and Sung Ji-young will sing themselves.
The song they will sing together is Hwang Garam's hit 'I Am a Firefly.' The firefly, which regarded itself as insignificant, comforts itself and gains strength in the lyrics, offering great consolation to listeners, the song was praised for that. The 'Try' team, having gone through the growing pains of youth, will also deliver a message cheering viewers' dreams and hopes with a deep resonance. Thus, anticipation is soaring for how the collaboration stage between Hwang Garam, who achieved a reverse-run success with 'I Am a Firefly,' and the 'Try' team, a growth drama about a perennial last-place team that won viewers' love, will unfold at the upcoming '2025 SBS Drama Awards'.
Also, K-dancer Gimu-gan, who gained attention as a 'stage fighter,' will perform the grand opening show in line with the 'God SBS' concept of the '2025 SBS Drama Awards.' This opening is significant because Gimu-gan and choreographer dancers will present a grand yet Korean performance, timed to the OST of the drama 'The Haunted Palace,' to commemorate a year in which Korean K-dramas dominated the world, and it will be presented for the first time at the '2025 SBS Drama Awards'.
In addition, a third teaser video featuring actors Pyo Ye-jin, Jang Hyuk-jin and Bae Yu Ram, who lead the taxi company Rainbow Transportation in the drama 'Taxi Driver 2,' was also released, capturing attention.
Meanwhile, the '2025 SBS Drama Awards,' which will wrap up this year with a special collaboration stage, will be broadcast live from 8:50 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2025.
