Former baseball player Hwang Jae-gyun shared an update on his life after his divorce.

Bae Ji-hyun defended, "It was just once," but Hwang Jae-gyun countered, "You're making it sound like it was just once," and recalled, "So I said, 'Okay, I'll come,' and when I arrived they were already eating sashimi, so I was about to eat some when suddenly someone asked, 'Hey, who did something wrong here?'" and he recounted being unexpectedly drawn into a marital argument.

Meanwhile, Hwang Jae-gyun began dating T-ara's Ji-yeon in 2021 and married the following year. But rumors of divorce swirled from June last year, and suspicions grew as the two did not proactively deny them. In October last year reports emerged that the two were going through divorce proceedings, and Ji-yeon said through her legal representative that "they agreed to divorce after a separation because they could not overcome their differences." Ultimately, divorce mediation was completed in November last year, and Hwang Jae-gyun and Ji-yeon ended their two-year marriage.
