Former soccer player Park Joo-ho's daughter Na-eun is drawing attention by sharing noticeable progress as a rhythmic gymnast.
On the 22nd, a video titled "Na-eun's last rhythmic gymnastics competition of the year" was posted on the YouTube channel '집에서 안나와'.
The released video showed mother ANNA carefully doing Na-eun's makeup and hair herself to provide meticulous care before the rhythmic gymnastics competition.
ANNA said, "The day before, Na-eun had a slight fever, so I contemplated canceling her participation at the last minute," and added, "but Na-eun said she would compete until the end." Even though her condition was not perfect, Na-eun competed in the event and succeeded in winning an award by placing third with a stable performance.
After the competition, Na-eun said, "I had a fever today but I came in third. I'll win next week," revealing a clear sense of purpose. Afterward, Na-eun entered other competitions in succession and once again appeared on the winners' list, demonstrating steady growth. She also drew attention for exceptional expressiveness and sense of rhythm during a dance team stage.
Earlier, Park Joo-ho candidly revealed changes in Na-eun's educational path through various broadcasts and YouTube. He said Na-eun, who had been attending an international school, struggled under academic pressure, and her facial expressions and condition noticeably changed. Park said, "I could tell from the child's expression that she wasn't happy," and explained, "We chose to stop for a while and try what the child likes." After that, Na-eun began to actively challenge herself in sports such as rhythmic gymnastics and figure skating, regaining a brighter and more proactive demeanor.
Meanwhile, Park Joo-ho is married to his Swiss-born wife ANNA and has two sons and one daughter, and the family received great love through KBS2 The Return of SUPERMAN. ANNA disclosed that she had battled cancer in the past and received much support, and she is currently under follow-up observation.
