tvN 'Reply 1988' OST, sung by the stars behind the hit, will be released on the 26th.
'Reply 1988' 10th anniversary OST Part 2 is being released as a double title, and Studio MaumC today (22) unveiled a teaser for "Hyehwadong" on its official YouTube channel, receiving a strong response.
The released teaser shows actors Ryu Hye-young, Hyeri, Ko Kyung-pyo, Ryu Jun-yeol, Park Bo-gum, Ahn Jae-hong, Lee Dong-hwi, and Choi Sung-won—who were beloved as the Ssangmundong i-dle in the drama—singing "Hyehwadong." The Ssangmundong i-dle naturally recalled the on-screen chemistry from the drama through their exchanging harmonies, raising expectations for the full song.
The other title track released the same day is "Don't worry, my dear," sung by the Stray Dogs (Lee Il-hwa, Ra Mi-ran, Kim Seon-young). Based on the warm sentiment of Jeon In-kwon's original, an acoustic nylon guitar arrangement adds an even cozier sound.
"Don't worry, my dear," one of the signature songs of the 'Reply 1988' OST, is sung by the Stray Dogs and delivers an emotion different from Lee Juck's voice. The song moves from calmly sung solo parts to a chorus sing-along, offering the Stray Dogs' uniquely poignant feeling and comfort at the same time.
In particular, the Stray Dogs is the team name created by the Ssangmundong mothers to participate in the "National Singing Contest." The Stray Dogs, who became drunk from alcohol they drank to relieve tension and were unable to participate in the preliminaries, express that regret through this 'Reply 1988' 10th anniversary OST.
