LA POEM, a crossover group, completely captivated Japanese fans.
LA POEM held "LA POEM Premium Showcase Live in Tokyo 2025" at IINO HALL in Tokyo on the 20th.
This showcase marked LA POEM's full-scale entry into Japan. Before the performance, a celebratory debut advertisement for LA POEM was displayed in Tokyo and on the Cross Shinjuku Vision, and promotional videos for LA POEM's premium showcase were played on six outdoor billboards in the Shibuya area, including Tower Records Vision, demonstrating strong local fan interest.
That day LA POEM opened the performance with "Oh, love", "Fallen leaves" and "Even if life deceives you." Greeting the fans who came to the venue, LA POEM heated up the atmosphere with performances of "落葉松 (larch)", "El Día Que Me Quieras", "Por Una Cabeza" and "First Love."
Individual stages showcasing each member's personality and charm continued. Yu Chae-hoon delivered a high-quality performance of "Caruso", Choi Seong-hoon performed "もののけ (Princess Mononoke)", and Jung Min-seong performed "My Way."
The three also added richness with duet stages. Yu Chae-hoon and Jung Min-seong performed "Miserere", Choi Seong-hoon and Jung Min-seong performed "Always with Me", and Yu Chae-hoon and Choi Seong-hoon performed "Say Something," drawing enthusiastic responses from the audience.
Notably, LA POEM presented "Morning country" and "The Phantom of the Opera" in orchestra versions, delivering an irreplaceable, high-quality performance. Many well-known local Japanese broadcasters attended the concert and praised it highly.
In addition, LA POEM completed an unboring performance with a diverse setlist including "Dazzling night", "The Rose" and "Adagio," and gave the audience an unforgettable emotion and memory with encore performances of "人よ (Koibitoyo)" and "O holy Night."
After the performance LA POEM expressed deep gratitude, saying, "Thank you for coming all the way here in person and cheering so warmly that we could feel it on stage. Because of you, we were filled with excitement rather than nervousness. Each person's gaze and applause still remain in our hearts. We sincerely thank you for welcoming us so warmly in Japan."
They added their intention for future activities in Japan, saying, "We hope today's meeting will not be a brief encounter but a bond that continues. We will work hard to prepare so we can meet you again in Japan with better music and a more grown version of ourselves. We will not forget the love you always give and will wait for that day with gratitude."
Meanwhile, LA POEM will continue its global activities while remaining active.
